Are you an Electrical Engineer with experience in controls design, troubleshooting, and equipment installation? We’re looking for a problem-solver who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment to join our Paint Electrical Controls team. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with vendors, engineers, and project teams to ensure the successful implementation of electrical control standards.

What You’ll Do:

βœ” Develop and confirm electrical control standards for projects.
βœ” Review electrical drawings and ensure accuracy in layout design.
βœ” Support equipment installation and provide technical guidance.
βœ” Conduct review meetings with internal teams and external vendors.
βœ” Identify project restrictions and develop countermeasures to overcome challenges.
βœ” Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, machine codes, and industry standards.
βœ” Create and maintain project documentation and technical reports.

What You Bring:

βœ” Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
βœ” Experience in controls design and troubleshooting within an industrial setting.
βœ” Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical and layout design.
βœ” Strong skills in MS Office Suite (Excel for analysis, PowerPoint for reporting).
βœ” Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
βœ” Knowledge of OSHA requirements, machine codes, and industry standards.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):

βž• Experience in maintenance, robotics, or a related technical background.
βž• Paint production engineering experience.
βž• Working knowledge of PLC systems and industrial communication protocols.
βž• Familiarity with Model ID, ALC, and vehicle data systems.
βž• Experience working with suppliers and external affiliates on development projects.
