β° Standard Hours: 8-hour shifts (OT required if requested by manager)

βοΈ Travel: Domestic & international (Mexico & Canada) for meetings & hands-on fieldwork
π Peak Travel Seasons: Summer (JuneβJuly) & Winter (DecβJan) Shutdowns
As a Controls Engineer, you'll play a vital role in electrical design, PLC programming, HMI development, risk assessments, and commissioning for cutting-edge mechanical and hydraulic power stamping presses.
Your responsibilities will include:

HMI & PLC Design β Create & modify programs using Studio 5000, Siemens, Toyopuc, Yaskawa, and Proface
β
Safety PLC Development β Implement Allen-Bradley & Siemens safety protocols
β
Electrical Hardware Design β Develop panel layouts & field device setups using AutoCAD Electrical
β
Installation Supervision β Oversee engineers, electricians & millwrights during system upgrades
β
Full Line Commissioning β Provide PLC, electrical, and mechanical support for system installations
π Education/Experience:
βοΈ BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technician degree/work experience
βοΈ AutoCAD Electrical expertise
βοΈ PLC programming experience (Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens β MUST HAVE)
βοΈ Electrical hardware design experience
βοΈ Installation & commissioning experience
π‘ Ability to multitask & problem-solve in fast-moving environments
π€ Strong teamwork & leadership skills
π£οΈ Excellent verbal & written communication
