Structural Field Engineer
π Location: Georgetown, KY (On-site from Day 1) | β Travel: Up to 50% (Domestic Only)

Are you a Civil Engineer with a passion for structural systems, construction coordination, and field engineering? Weβre looking for a Structural Field Engineer to be the Subject Matter Expert in Architectural, Civil, and Structural (ACS) systems. If you have an eye for detail, thrive in a fast-paced industrial environment, and enjoy working hands-on with project execution and construction oversight, this role is for you!
β Act as the Subject Matter Expert for Architectural, Civil, and Structural (ACS) systems.
β Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop project scope, criteria, estimates, and schedules.
β Review and validate ACS system drawings from external engineering firms.
β Ensure compliance with local, state, and national codes, as well as company standards.
β Oversee shop drawing reviews, RFI processing, and Kanban completion.
β Coordinate weekend and plant shutdown work with contractors, plant facilities, and manufacturing teams.
β Conduct continuous field inspections to ensure project quality and progress.
β Support construction administration including scheduling, quality control, and planned utility outages.
β Bachelorβs degree in Civil Engineering (Required).
β 5+ years of experience in structural field engineering or related roles.
β Strong understanding of ACS systems and industrial construction standards.
β Ability to read and review technical drawings and project documentation.
β Experience working on industrial or manufacturing facility projects.
β Strong coordination skills for contractor and internal team collaboration.
β Ability to travel up to 50% domestically to various project sites.
β Willingness to work overtime (up to 60 hours per week, including weekends/shutdowns as needed).
β Must wear steel-toed boots (hard hat, safety glasses, and vest provided).
