CAD Technician
📍 Location: Georgetown, KY
💰 Salary: $20 - $30 per hour
⏳ Duration: 12 months (Possible Extension)
✈ Travel: Up to 20% (Domestic)
Are you a CAD Technician passionate about digital manufacturing and 3D modeling? Join Final Assembly Production Engineering Department and play a key role in new model introduction by leveraging advanced digital tools.
What You’ll Do:
🛠 Support project planning for upcoming model changes.
📊 Conduct simultaneous engineering studies for vehicle assembly.
🖥 Perform 3D simulations, layout updates, and assembly management.
🔍 Utilize digital tools such as FEA, Navisworks, Inventor, Catia, Terrace, 3D scanning, and 3D printing.
🤝 Collaborate with internal and external teams.
What You Bring:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Integrated Technology, or CAD.
✔ Proficiency in AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
✔ Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
✔ Understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology.
✔ Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
✔ 3D printing background (personal or professional).
✔ Fluency in 3D scanning technologies.
✔ Ability to travel up to 20% .
✔ Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
➕ FEA Certification.
➕ CAD Certification.
➕ 3D modeling or simulation certifications.
