CAD Technician

π° Salary: $20 - $30 per hour
β³ Duration: 12 months (Possible Extension)
β Travel: Up to 20% (Domestic)
Are you a CAD Technician passionate about digital manufacturing and 3D modeling? Join Final Assembly Production Engineering Department and play a key role in new model introduction by leveraging advanced digital tools.
What Youβll Do:
π Support project planning for upcoming model changes.
π Conduct simultaneous engineering studies for vehicle assembly.
π₯ Perform 3D simulations, layout updates, and assembly management.
π Utilize digital tools such as FEA, Navisworks, Inventor, Catia, Terrace, 3D scanning, and 3D printing.
π€ Collaborate with internal and external teams.
What You Bring:
β Bachelorβs degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Integrated Technology, or CAD.
β Proficiency in AutoCAD, Catia, SolidWorks, or Inventor.
β Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
β Understanding of drafting techniques and engineering terminology.
β Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
β 3D printing background (personal or professional).
β Fluency in 3D scanning technologies.
β Ability to travel up to 20% .
β Valid driverβs license with an acceptable motor vehicle record.
Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required):
β FEA Certification.
β CAD Certification.
β 3D modeling or simulation certifications.
