Systems Engineer
Location: Georgetown, KY (No relocation support provided)
Salary: $30 - $40 per hour
Travel: Up to 30% (Domestic & International – U.S., Canada, and Mexico)
Steel Toe Boots Required

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with experience in PLC programming, industrial networking, and project management. This role involves implementing production networking systems, collaborating with multiple teams, and supporting both new model projects and current production models.

Responsibilities

  • Lead production networking systems (Andon, PIF, and IoE) implementation for North America Body Weld shops.
  • Plan, schedule, budget, and execute implementations at multiple sites.
  • Program PLC systems (Toyopuc and Omron).
  • Configure, set up, and maintain servers (Kepware, GE Cimplicity).
  • Collaborate with internal innovation teams on process improvement projects.
  • Develop and maintain standards, policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
  • Support data management and analytics initiatives.
  • Conduct presentations showcasing project progress and achievements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Controls, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in industrial network deployments and server setup.
  • SQL database operations knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Toyopuc PLC programming.
  • Experience with Kepware and GE Cimplicity software.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and overtime when necessary.
  • Valid travel documentation for Canada and Mexico.

Preferred Skills

  • Body Weld experience.
  • Omron PLC programming knowledge.
  • Experience with multiple programming languages (Python, VB.Net, BCL, SQL).
  • Familiarity with data analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau).
  • Experience in robotics and industrial controls.
