We are currently seeking a talented and hands-on Bodyweld Chassis Tech to join our team. This is an onsite role, and we are looking for candidates in the surrounding area or willing to travel extensively.
About the Role
In this position, you will play a critical role in inspecting, validating, and preparing new or modified chassis weld equipment for manufacturing production. You will work closely with vendors, suppliers, to ensure equipment readiness from installation through start of production. This role requires strong PLC and robotics expertise, with arc welding experience as a value-add.

πΉ Pay Rate: $55β$60 per hour
πΉ Duration: 12 Months (Potential to extend)
πΉ Travel: 75% International (Canada, Mexico, Japan), plus domestic U.S. travel
πΉ Overtime: Weekends, holidays, project deadlines, and potential shutdowns
What Youβll Be Doing
β Perform offline and online robot programming and interlocking.
β Confirm that new model chassis equipment meets set standards and functions as intended.
β Prepare and validate new Bodyweld chassis equipment at vendor locations.
β Support weld machine Seibi activities at NAMCs from installation to start of production.
β Develop equipment countermeasures during setup and trial phases.
β Travel to support equipment readiness, including domestic and international locations (U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan).
β Work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
What You Bring
β
2β5 years of automotive manufacturing experience.
β
Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field.
β
Strong robotics and PLC skills; experience in arc welding environments is a plus.
β
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
β
Ability to create and maintain schedules effectively.
β
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
β
Capable of performing medium to heavy physical work.
β
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, off shifts, and overtime.
β
Experience with mentoring or technical training is a plus.
