We are currently seeking a Machine Seibi Technician to join our team in Princeton, IN. This is an onsite role, and we are prioritizing local candidates.

About the Role

In this position, you will play a critical role in inspecting, confirming, and preparing new or modified Body Weld equipment for manufacturing production. You will support the Seibi team with hands-on robot programming, interlocking, equipment validation, and vendor confirmation.

πŸ”Ή Duration: 12 months, with possibility of extension
πŸ”Ή Travel: Up to 70% – U.S., Canada, Mexico, Japan
πŸ”Ή Overtime: Up to 30% during weekdays, weekends, shutdowns, holidays, and odd hours

What You’ll Be Doing

βœ” Inspect and confirm new or modified Body Weld equipment at vendors
βœ” Program and interlock robots on-site
βœ” Support weld machine Seibi activities from installation to start of production
βœ” Develop equipment countermeasures during set-up and trials
βœ” Travel domestically and internationally for training and project support
βœ” Collaborate with project teams to ensure equipment meets set standards

What You Bring

βœ… High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s not required)
βœ… Degree in Industrial Maintenance-related field (preferred)
βœ… 1+ year Toyota PE Seibi experience
βœ… 3+ years automotive manufacturing experience
βœ… Experience mentoring or providing technical training
βœ… Comfortable with extensive hands-on work and travel

πŸ”Ή Strong computer skills: MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word
πŸ”Ή Industrial maintenance or equipment troubleshooting experience

Safety & PPE Requirements

  • Provided by company: Hard hat, cap, gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses
  • Resource provides: Steel-toed shoes (must be above ankle)
  • Prescription glasses if needed
