🔧 Exciting Opportunity for a Controls Engineer! Join a cutting-edge team working on power stamping presses and automation upgrades in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

🔹 Work Schedule & Travel:
📍 Location: Georgetown, KY
🏡 Hybrid Option: Must be in-office Tuesdays & Thursdays
⏰ Standard Hours: 8-hour shifts (OT required if requested by manager)
👞 Steel Toe Boots: Required
✈️ Travel: Domestic & international (Mexico & Canada) for meetings & hands-on fieldwork
📆 Peak Travel Seasons: Summer (June–July) & Winter (Dec–Jan) Shutdowns

🔹 What You’ll Do:
As a Controls Engineer, you'll play a vital role in electrical design, PLC programming, HMI development, risk assessments, and commissioning for cutting-edge mechanical and hydraulic power stamping presses.
Your responsibilities will include:
✅ HMI & PLC Design – Create & modify programs using Studio 5000, Siemens, Toyopuc, Yaskawa, and Proface
✅ Safety PLC Development – Implement Allen-Bradley & Siemens safety protocols
✅ Electrical Hardware Design – Develop panel layouts & field device setups using AutoCAD Electrical
✅ Installation Supervision – Oversee engineers, electricians & millwrights during system upgrades
✅ Full Line Commissioning – Provide PLC, electrical, and mechanical support for system installations

🔹 Must Haves:
🎓 Education/Experience:
✔️ BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technician degree/work experience
✔️ AutoCAD Electrical expertise
✔️ PLC programming experience (Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Siemens – MUST HAVE)
✔️ Electrical hardware design experience
✔️ Installation & commissioning experience

🔹 Conduct walk-throughs and site audits to identify and mitigate risks.

⚡ What You Bring to the Table:
✔️ 2-5 years of onsite health & safety experience (preferably in automotive construction).
✔️ Knowledge of OSHA industrial regulations (construction focus).
✔️ Experience in site safety audits & inspections.
✔️ Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Suite & reporting tools.
✔️ Strong communication & leadership skills.
✔️ Certifications in Fall Protection, WHMIS, Silica Mitigation, & Hazard Communication.
